Gōjū-ryū (剛柔流?)
Our Style
Gōjū-ryū (剛柔流?) is a traditional Okinawan style that incorporates both circular and linear movements into its curriculum. It combines hard striking attacks such as kicks and close hand punches with softer open hand circular techniques for attacking, blocking, and controlling the opponent. It includes locks, grappling, takedowns and throws and was founded by the Okinawan Karate Master, Chōjun Miyagi.

Happy New Year! We just received this great training opportunity from the Lincoln dojo:
“LMAC will be open for Niten Geiko (New Year’s Eve) training this Saturday night from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. If you are interested, feel free to join us. It is also traditional to enjoy a few refreshments with some good fellowship afterwards. It is a great way to bring in the New Year if you have never done it. There is no fee for the training, but bring food or drink to share if you like.
Also, mark your calendars for a Kangeiko (winter training) workout at LMAC on Saturday, January 21st from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
